

IBRI: The activities and exhibition of ‘Nusk’, aimed at raising awareness on the rituals and purposes of Haj, have commenced in the Wilayat of Ibri, Al Dhahirah Governorate. The event is organised by the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs and will run until May 3, Sunday.
In his address, Ibrahim bin Mubarak Al Harthi, Assistant Director of the Department of Endowments and Religious Affairs in Al Dhahirah Governorate, emphasised the importance of strengthening religious awareness among pilgrims. He highlighted the need to provide proper guidance to ensure the correct performance of Haj rituals, reflecting the spiritual values and objectives of the pilgrimage.
The opening ceremony featured visual presentations highlighting the spiritual journey of Haj, as well as the role of the Omani Haj mission in serving pilgrims. It also shed light on the spiritual dimensions of the pilgrimage and the expected moral and religious gains from this sacred journey.
The event also included a dialogue session with specialists who discussed comprehensive preparation for Haj, covering spiritual, health, and logistical aspects. The session further raised awareness on preventive measures and safety guidelines to help pilgrims avoid risks while performing the rituals.
The exhibition aims to enhance awareness among pilgrims and promote a culture of holistic preparation for Haj, contributing to a safe and smooth performance of the pilgrimage in accordance with approved religious and regulatory guidelines. – ONA
